Sophia Nyborg-Andersen serves as a business associate at the University of La Verne Small Business Development Center, where she is responsible for business operations, marketing the centers’ services, and coordinating workshops and events. Her role is to provide administrative support to the visions and goals of the Small Business Development Center and the clients that they serve.

Sophia is a graduate of the California State Polytechnic University of Pomona where she earned her bachelor of science in Business Administration. While attending, she became a member of the Professionals in Human Resources Association and the College of Business Volunteering Club, CPP Waves.

When she is not working for the SBDC, Sophia volunteers with the Children’s Foundation of America to support local foster youth, and her local church’s children’s ministry food pantry.
